🌊 Cudjoe — The Story Behind the Candle Cudjoe, a fearless leader of the Leeward Maroons, secured freedom for his people through strategy, courage, and resolve. Black Sands blends Black Pepper, Sandalwood, and Amber to evoke his strength, boldness, and the enduring spirit of leadership. Did You Know Did you know? Cudjoe negotiated one of the first peace treaties in the Caribbean between escaped enslaved communities and the British, securing independence for his people in 1739.

Candle Care

  1. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch for best burn without soot
  2. Burn within sight. Always be vigilant when burning candles
  3. Avoid drafts and curtains
  4. Limit burn time to four hours
  5. Keep away from flammables, children and pets
  6. Allow candle to cool before handling
